What to Look for when you are buying metal furniture

1 Is the metal furniture fully welded or put together. Normally fully welded metal furniture is stronger and has less rack and does not unsightly marks were the joints are screwed together. Fully welded big items like bakers, it is especially important to buy a fully welded unit as excessive weight could be hazardous on a easy to assemble bakers rack.

2. Lower quality metal furniture is made out of less gauge thick tubing which causes dings and bends.

3. Good welding is important is important. When you get pin holing in the welds or weld that are not smooth, there maybe additional problems to the weld part like welding to an overly part could cause weld breakage.

4. Most metal furniture is now powder coated.  You need to find out how much preparation goes into cleaning the part before powder coating.

5. Measure the diagonals of baker racks and table often lower quality metal furniture is out of square.
